Share – Connect – Benefit: European Waterpark Association Launches New Membership Initia-tive to Drive International Growth

The European Waterpark Association (EWA) is sending a strong signal about the future of the European water park and leisure industry: With the new initiative “Share – Connect – Benefit”, a targeted campaign to recruit members (and foster networking) at the national and international levels will launch in 2026.

The focus is on the shared goal of increasing the EWA’s international visibility and sustainably expanding its base of full members. The initiative combines three key approaches: active exchange within the industry, the expansion of national and international contacts, and concrete benefits for committed members.

A key component is a new, trilingual online platform www.ewa-member.info, which conveys to potential members—in a concise and compelling way—what EWA stands for and the added value that membership offers. You can also access the new landing page directly via the QR code:

This online platform is complemented by the Share-Connect-Benefit program, which actively involves existing members in the organization’s growth.

Under the motto “Grow—and succeed—together!”, participating members benefit in several ways: Every new member recruited not only increases EWA’s national and international reach but also brings concrete benefits to the recruiters. This creates additional contacts at international events and specifically strengthens networking within the industry.

As a special incentive, an exclusive professional and networking weekend is raffled off annually among the EWA member companies that recruit new members. For every new full member recruited (i.e., a recreational pool or thermal spa), the recruiting member companies receive raffle tickets—with double the chance of winning for new international members. Furthermore, exceptional commitment is directly rewarded: Anyone who recruits three new full members automatically wins a spot at the networking weekend at Spreewelten Lübbenau.

The first campaign period runs from January 1 to October 6, 2026. The drawing will take place during the general meeting at INTERBAD Stuttgart. The incentive trip, featuring a professional program, will be held in the spring of the following year.
