At Interbad 2022 in Stuttgart, we were delighted with the great response from our members and friends. This is anything but a matter of course, because the international trade fair business is still marked by the Corona crisis and the economic crisis in the wake of the attack on Ukraine. Interbad 2022 was not spared from this either. With 296 exhibitors and 8,500 visitors, there was a significant drop compared to the last regular Interbad in 2018 (then there were 416 exhibitors and over 14,000 visitors).
It was therefore all the more pleasing that the EWA events at the Stuttgart trade fair were so popular. We would like to thank all visitors who came to our EWA stand. Especially on Thursday, which is traditionally the EWA day at the pool trade fairs, our tables were constantly occupied and we did not even have the opportunity to exchange at least a few words with all members and friends of the association. The EWA once again proved to be a magnet and due to the concept of locating our members around the EWA stand, the frequency of visitors in this part of the hall was particularly high!
We would also like to thank the Deutsche Gesellschaft für das Badewesen e.V. (German Association for public pools), which hosted the Interbad and made our presence possible in the first place, and the team of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH with Joachim Sauter, Shanna Savidfoluschi-Weeh, Frank Röder and Claudia Döttinger at the helm for their great cooperation.
We would also like to thank all co-exhibitors and all members who provided us with material for the special exhibition “Theming & Storytelling”. Special thanks to Eleven Hungary Ltd. for the impressive centre piece – a slide in steam punk design!
This year we were able to treat our guests not only to a traditional hearty snack, but also to “Grandma’s country cake” from Schoeller. Many thanks to Sascha Michelberger for this and for the delicious Nuii ice cream! Of course, Langnese was there again this year with Magnum and ice cream confectionery – thanks to Gregor Mogalle! Our thanks also go to the hostesses of the two companies who not only distributed ice cream but also helped us with the catering at the “Come together” on Thursday afternoon.
We are now already looking forward to Aquanale 2023, which will take place in Cologne from 24 to 27 October 2023. Please make a note of the EWA day with general meeting and networking evening on 26.10.2022. We have reserved the Gesellschaftshaus Flora in the Botanical Garden of Cologne for the networking evening with dinner.
