9th International EWA Congress in Ischgl – Summit meeting of the European waterpark industry

Friedi Kühne (see picture), who will be talking about his world champion adventures on the slackline at the International EWA Congress “Future Prospects of the European Waterpark Business” – and the role his team plays in these breathtaking high-altitude flights – will be one highlight in the programme of our EWA congress in April. For the ninth time, the European Waterpark Association is inviting its members and interested guests to an international exchange of experiences. This year, the slogan “Summit meeting of the European waterpark industry” applies in a special way. We will be guests at the congress centre of the new Silvretta Therme in Ischgl on 22 and 23 April and will therefore be meeting at an altitude of 1,400 metres. For our get-together on the evening before the congress (21 April), we will be going even higher up: to the Pardatschgrat mountain station at 2,600 metres.

But is the waterpark and spa industry also flying high? Or are our businesses still in crisis mode? With our varied congress programme, we want to take stock of the industry, take an optimistic look into the future and present examples of best practice. We are looking forward to an informative congress with great speakers and an eventful frame programme. And we look forward to seeing you there when the EWA’s motto is “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, as the legendary Marvin Gaye song goes!
