We would like to cordially invite all members of the European Waterpark Association e.V. to this year's General Meeting, which will take place on Thursday, 27 October 2022 at 6.30 p.m. in the ICS International Congress Centre at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. It goes without saying that we will observe all hygiene regulations in force at the time of the meeting.

Agenda

  1. Welcome by the president of the EWA, Landesrat Markus Achleitner,
  2. approval of the agenda,
  3. approval of the minutes of the general meeting of 28 October 2021 in Cologne,
  4. honouring of long-standing members,
  5. report of the president on the business years 2021 and 2022,
  6. report of the treasurer Oliver Sternagel on the financial year 2021,
  7. report of the speaker of the committee of the supporting members, Kim Adam,
  8. discussion of the reports,
  9. report of the auditors Ute Sello and Annett Koza on the accounts for the financial year 2021,
  10. discussion and relief of the board and the management,
  11. election of a new auditor for the business year 2022,
  12. discussion and resolution on the draft budget 2023,
  13. outlook for the business year 2023,
  14. resolution on motions received,
  15. miscellaneous

Please note that, in accordance with the statutes, motions for the agenda must be received by the board or the office no later than 14 days before the general meeting. Resolutions on motions received later can only be passed if the general meeting agrees to put the motion on the agenda (§ 10, paragraph 1 of the EWA statutes). For motions to amend the statutes, § 11, paragraph 3 of the statutes of the EWA applies. So-called initiative motions concerning the contents of the meeting, which do not entail a change of the agenda or statutes, can be made at any time during the meeting.

The documents required for the general meeting (annual report, draft budget etc.) will be sent to you by e-mail in good time before the meeting. Registration for the general meeting is not required. Following the general meeting, a festive dinner with presentation of the EWA Awards 2022 is planned at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. A separate invitation with registration form will be sent out.
