A relaxing escape for body, mind, and soul awaits guests at this health and wellness oasis nestled in the heart of the Franconian Nature Park. Pure relaxation is offered by the diverse aquatic areas, as well as the unique Wellness Dome – featuring medical wellness zones – and the spacious sauna complex.

Thanks to its idyllically designed sauna area, Therme Bad Steben is a premier destination for sauna enthusiasts. Visitors can choose from five saunas with varying temperatures: ranging from the organic herbal sauna (55–60°C), the infusion sauna and panorama sauna (both 85–95°C), to the Finnish fire sauna (95–105°C) and the earth sauna (100–110°C). Additional features include an aroma steam bath and a largescale event spa. Other highlights include the rooftop “Sky Pool” offering views of the spa gardens and a 40°C Japanese-style Onsen hot spring seating pool.

The centerpiece of the thermal complex is the Great Bath Hall, visible from the foyer; its glass façade offers expansive views of the lap pool, the barefoot dining area, and the outdoor grounds. A stainless-steel water-spouting serpent and a 36°C whirlpool provide bubbling variety. Key attractions include the 36°C outdoor brine pool and outdoor lazy river, as well as the “Pavilion of Senses” and the “Pavilion of Sound.” In the “Light & Sound Pool”. Music and sound merge – both above and below the water – to create a holistic sensory experience. The exclusively designed wellness center offers deeply relaxing treatments, featuring authentic “Spruce Magic” treatments and Franconian Forest packages.

AquAHAUS in Ahaus is one of the most attractive combined indoor and outdoor swimming facilities in the western Münsterland region, offering visitors a varied experience for leisure, sport and relaxation. With a modern indoor pool area, spacious outdoor facilities and a total of six swimming pools, AquAHAUS is a popular meeting place for families, clubs, school groups, recreational swimmers and sports enthusiasts.

The indoor pool area, which is open year-round, provides ideal conditions for swimming, water familiarisation and relaxation. Facilities include a sports pool for ambitious swimmers, course and learn-to-swim offers, as well as a child-friendly area designed especially for younger guests. Numerous swimming courses, aquafitness programmes and club activities make AquAHAUS an important centre for swimming and aquatic sports in the region.

During the summer months, the extensive outdoor area is particularly appealing, with large lawns and a wide range of attractions. A special highlight is the approximately 1,255 m² wave pool, which creates a holiday atmosphere and is popular with guests of all ages. The offer is complemented by additional outdoor pools, water play areas for children and plenty of space for relaxing, playing and sunbathing.

AquAHAUS combines exercise, health and leisure in an ideal way. Whether visitors want to swim lengths, enjoy a family day out, take part in children’s swimming courses or aquafitness, or simply spend a relaxed summer day on the lawn, the facility offers something for every need. Thanks to its modern equipment, free parking and good accessibility, the pool is an attractive destination for visitors from Ahaus and the entire region.

In addition to public swimming, AquAHAUS is also committed to swimming education and actively supports the development of swimming skills among children and young people. Its broad range of courses, together with cooperation with schools and clubs, makes an important contribution to safety in and around the water.

AquAHAUS is operated by LokalBäder GmbH. In addition to the Ahaus site, the company also operates pool locations in Vreden, Stadtlohn and Alstätte. In this way, LokalBäder GmbH provides attractive leisure, sport and swimming opportunities at several locations across the western Münsterland region and contributes to a modern, future-oriented public pool landscape.

The Nordpool in Colmar-Berg is continuing to develop: alongside its tried-and-tested water and leisure facilities, a new water spray park is being built on the sunbathing lawn – for even more fun and a refreshing cool-down in summer.

The Nordpool in Colmar-Berg is far more than a traditional swimming pool – it is a vibrant meeting place for exercise, relaxation and spending time together. Whether it’s competitive swimming, playful exploration or simply unwinding – there’s something for everyone here.

To further enhance the experience, a new water spray park is currently being built on the sunbathing lawn. This offers an attractive addition for children and families, particularly on hot days, and provides extra fun for playing and cooling off outdoors.

With its seven modern pools and expanded outdoor area, the Nordpool remains a central hub for leisure and quality of life in Colmar-Berg and the wider region.

Floating weightlessly in a saltwater pool while gazing at towering 3,000-meter peaks: for over 20 years, the AQUA DOME – Tirol Therme Längenfeld has been one of the top addresses for high-end wellness in the Alpine region.

On more than 65,000 m², modern architecture and alpine nature merge into a unique overall experience. The concept focuses on active relaxation: first feeling the power of the Ötztal mountain world, then unwinding in warm thermal water drawn from a depth of 1,865 meters. The Aqualon in Bad Säckingen is a thermalbath on the Hochrhein featuring a thermal bath, sauna area, spa treatments, and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy several indoor and outdoor pools filled with mineralrich thermal water from local springs for swimming, relaxation, and wellness. The facility also offers a varied sauna world, wellness treatments and massages, and an bistro for refreshments.

An experience for the senses …

Immerse yourself in the warmth of our thermal pools and simply let yourself drift away from the stresses and strains of everyday life: In the 32.8 degree indoor pool, you will be gently lapped by the healing mineral thermal water on bubble loungers. Enjoy a soothing water massage in the massage seats and in the 35-degree hot spring pool, where all your tension will melt away.

Or swim in the large outdoor pool with current channel, where you can enjoy a relaxing and energising dip in 33.5 degree water at any time of year. And all of this is garnished with a view of the reflecting water surface of Lake Constance with its Alpine panorama and the changing colours of the underwater lighting.

The Coque offers a comprehensive range of swimming and aquatic activities at the Centre Aquatique. Facilities include a 50-metre Olympic pool with eight lanes, a 25-metre pool, a diving tower with platforms from 1 m to 10 m, as well as a sports and health pool used for swimming and aquafitness classes. Additional facilities include a diving pool and an adjacent fitness area. The pools are used by schools, sports federations, and recreational swimmers.

For national and international competitions, the venue provides 650 spectator seats on the stands above the pools. The Coque also operates a separate 50-metre training pool, used exclusively by federations and international teams for training camps.

The Centre de Détente constitutes the adjacent wellness and relaxation area. It includes several saunas, a hammam, a snow cabin, warm and cold-water pools, themed showers, a whirlpool, a tepidarium, and dedicated relaxation areas. Outdoors, guests have access to a wood-fired sauna, warm and cold pools, and additional relaxation zones. A wide range of massage treatments is also available. The sauna area is textile-free; bathrobes are required in passageways and relaxation areas.

“Well-being Next Level” – this is the motto under which the Spa Resort Geinberg in Upper Austria’s Innviertel region invites guests to relax. Fed by one of the hottest and most abundant thermal springs in Central Europe, the thermal spa is the ideal place to dive in and take a deep breath.

While the children have fun in the GUMBALINO KinderLand, adults can enjoy some sporting activity in the adventure or swimming pool. Attractive lounge areas are available for relaxing and sharing experiences.

GUMBALINO KinderLand is the largest water playground for children aged four and above in the region, with over 30 water attractions covering 130 square metres of water-based fun! Various water slides, a water play wall, water cannons, climbing tunnels, a suspension bridge and a large tipping water barrel guarantee a day of water-based fun.

Gumbala offers much more than just water fun for young and old. Here, guests will also find an oasis of peace and relaxation: the Oberberg Sauna Land.

Three different saunas and a steam bath ensure deep relaxation and regeneration. The adventure showers in the cold water area offer a wonderful refreshment.

Whether it’s a short visit after work or a long day of relaxation, the Saunaland offers a wide range of options for bringing body and mind into harmony.

Between the hourly infusions, guests can treat themselves to a little break in the special atmosphere of the Oberberg Sauna Lounge. From refreshing drinks to delicious snacks and freshly prepared salad bowls, you can also enjoy chips with currywurst or a delicious ice cream.

The inter-municipal swimming pool ‘An der Schwemm’ is located in the heart of Bettembourg. It features a 25-meter pool, as well as a teaching pool, a children’s pool, and a water slide. Originally opened in 2005, the pool’s aim was to provide swimming lessons for school classes from the municipalities of Bettembourg and Leudelange. After a complete renovation, the bathroom is very modern and fit for the future.

Over time, the pool was expanded to include a wellness area with five different saunas including a steam room. In 2014, a sports area was added, and we now offer over 100 group classes per week. These include swimming lessons for children and adults, as well as a variety of other classes outside the water – from indoor cycling to children’s and adult fitness classes, our customers will find something to suit them. We actively collaborate with clubs from the member municipalities, not to compete with them, but to complement the offerings for all ages and skill levels.
