Albgaubad Ettlingen – relaxation, diversity, well-being in the heart of Ettlingen

On 2,500 m² of water, the Albgaubad invites you to have unadulterated bathing fun in the summer months with its indoor and outdoor pools. Whether swimming, jumping, sliding, splashing or climbing – nothing to be desired is left unfulfilled in the Albgaubad. There are also many areas “on land” for young and old to exercise their energy in sport and play. Curious? Then off to the Albgaubad in Ettlingen. The indoor pool and sauna in the Albgaubad are open except for the 6 weeks during the summer holidays.

The indoor pool is a great family pool with its 25m swimming pool, diving pool, non-swimmer pool, heated outdoor pool and spacious parent-child area. The slide system with the unique competition slide, the 94 m long body slide and the water climbing climbing wall offer action and fun.

Relaxation and recovery are the order of the day in the wellness oasis with a water massage lounger, solarium and infrared cabin.

The sauna area of the Albgaubad offers a special feel-good experience. Enjoy the indoor sauna world with sanarium, castle sauna, Alb steam bath and mill sauna. An ice fountain, heated benches, infrared loungers, foot basins and spacious relaxation areas complete the offer. The wonderful outdoor area with Kelosauna, aroma sauna, covered whirlpool and heated outdoor pool invites you to linger and relax.

The Albgau outdoor swimming pool has an area of around 1900 m² of water. Whether pure swimming pleasure in the 50m pool or fun and action in the adventure pool with steep slide, wide slide, water volcano, current channel, underwater loungers, bubble jets, water cannons, fountains or the diving pool with 1m, 3m and 5m diving facilities – the pool landscape leaves nothing to be desired .

The fantastic water adventure playground and wonderful sand play area around the pirate ship “ALBPIRAT”, away from the large water pools, is the perfect place for play and bathing fun for the SMALLEST.

There’s no chance of boredom outside of the pools – whether playing beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis or, more leisurely, a game of outdoor chess.

Gastronomy is available in all areas.

With its Palmenparadies and textile-free Vitaltherme & Sauna, the Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is an extraordinary wellness experience. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a vacation in the South Seas: over 400 real palm trees, around 1,000 orchids, turquoise lagoons with pool bars, and exclusive sauna attractions invite you to take a relaxing break.

Palmenparadies

In the Palmenparadies, guests can relax on bubble loungers and in whirlpools with a water temperature of 34° C. Numerous loungers under palm trees invite you to dream and relax. Those who want to do something for their health will be thrilled by the beneficial effects of the mineral pools with brine, calcium/lithium and selenium. In good weather, guests can enjoy their cocktail at the pool bar under the open sky thanks to the retractable panoramic glass roof.

Summer on the beach

In summer, the 2,000-square-meter “Paradise Beach” with palm trees, beach bar, numerous sun loungers, hammocks and deck chairs invite guests to relax. Two outdoor pools provide a freshness kick on hot summer days. Exclusive bamboo lounges, four-poster beds and sun swings make the vacation feeling perfect.

Vitaltherme & Sauna

In a stylish atmosphere, visitors can expect 13 exclusively themed adventure saunas and a steam bath. The panoramic trip across the natural lake in the world’s first self-propelled sauna boat is spectacular. The cinema sauna, the Viennese coffee house and the koi sauna, which has been named the largest sauna in the world, make saunas to an unforgettable experience. Traditional sauna culture really comes alive in the log cabin-style outdoor sauna, a classic highlight.

Palmenparadies

The Palmenparadies, the textile area, is your oasis of well-being with real palm trees, crystal-clear water and comfortably warm temperatures. Enjoy relaxation in the whirlpool, chill out in the steam bath or take it easy at the pool bar, whether inside or outside in the outdoor pool. On sunny days, the panoramic glass roof can be opened so you can swim in the open air. The Palmenparadies can be visited from the age of 16, infants up to 3 years are free. Saturdays are family day (no age restriction, from 9am – midnight).

Vitaltherme & Sauna

Enter an elegant sauna world that impresses with its spaciousness and unique atmosphere. Experience intense moments of complete relaxation.

Discover ten themed saunas, a soft steam bath, various aroma journeys and meditations, the fascinating calla blossom shower, a variety of relaxation shells and cosy loungers to rest on, a blue lagoon with cocktail bar. Admission from 16 years, without swimwear (textile-free).

The new DONAUTHERME Ingolstadt has a perfect day for everyone in store: a big waterpark for families, a stunning sauna area, a new, modern thermal bath for everyone seeking relaxation and even a fitness club for sportive and active people.
Seven waterslides, wave pool, sports pool as well as a big outdoor area with a jet stream canal, a beach area and a spray park for children the waterpark offers fun and adventure for the whole family. With many adventures experienced the free flow restaurant satisfies the big and the small appetite with fries, pasta and everything you could ask for.
The sauna area with seven saunas invites everyone seeking some recovery with warmth, relaxation and comfort. A steam bath, a swimming pool and numerous relaxation rooms make for a relaxed recovery. A broad sauna garden with kelo saunas around a beautiful, idyllic pond completes a perfect spa day, as well as spectacular sauna infusions, massage- and spa offers and a high level á la carte restaurant.

The Ith Sole Therme in Salzhemmendorf, Northern Germany is a therm focusing on health. It contains Germany’s best, and Europe’s second best, sulfur brine resource and it is widely known for its salt.
Boasting eight indoor and outdoor pools and three saunas, the Ith Sole Therme is perfect for relaxing, let the salt’s natural minerals soak into your skin and leave you feeling refreshed. Additionally, you can visit the SPA and get a relaxing massage from one of our professional masseuses.
In the SalzLounge and steam bath you can take a deep breath and benefit from the salt in the air. Spending 45 minutes in this special room (SalzLounge) is as beneficial as being at the sea for a day.

Das aquaLaatzium bietet neben einem der modernsten Fitness-Clubs der Region eine einzigartige Saunalandschaft und exklusives Schwimmvergnügen. Besucher kommen täglich in eine der wohl schönsten Freizeitanlagen Norddeutschlands und finden hier erstklassige Trainingsbedingungen zur aktiven Gesunderhaltung des eigenen Körpers. Ob im Fitnesspool für aquaGymnastik, in drei Kursräumen mit Yogaschule, Aerobic, Dance und Cycling oder auf der Trainingsfläche mit rund 150 modernsten Geräten für ein effektives Kraft-Ausdauertraining. Über 80 wöchentliche Kurse inklusive Outdoor-Bootcamps sorgen für Begeisterung.

Das familienfreundliche Schwimmbad mit Kleinkinderbereich, Body 2 Racer Doppelrutsche, Whirlpool, Strömungskanal und Solebecken verspricht auch an heißen Sommertagen erfrischende Abkühlung im Naturbadesee. Zusätzliche Schwimmbahnen können am Wochenende im Wettkampfbecken genutzt werden.

AquaMagis isn’t just known as a TOP adventure pool and WATER SLIDE GIANT with world-first attractions, it also instantly brings a touch of the Caribbean to Sauerland. In the themed area “Caribbean Islands”, AquaMagis, with its adventure pool, textile saunas and spacious sunbathing lawn with heated outdoor pool, offers an extensive counterpart to its popular adrenaline slides. AquaMagis has something for every water lover and the entire family, rain or shine – whether it’s pure action or relaxation under the palm trees.

Courageously jump into one of the adrenaline slides, like the spectacular wind slide world-first “Storm Force 1”; the first standing slide in Germany, “CrazySURFER”, and the popular “AquaLooping”, or take a fearless plunge into the stormy wave pool. For the little ones, the pirate ship and the triple slide are out-and-out highlights. If you’re a fan of classic saunas, AquaMagis also has a small but fine nudist area.

Entdecken Sie unseren Boden-Blubber, eine wohltuende Nackendusche sowie eine Schwallbrause. Im angrenzenden Kaskadenbecken ergießt sich ein Wasserfall aus großer Höhe direkt in das 1,20 m tiefe Becken mit einer Wassertemperatur von 29 °C. Eine besonders flache Babymulde, ein kleines Bächlein und eine Kletterburg lassen bei den Kleinen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Tanken Sie Gesundheit bei 33 °C Wassertemperatur. Unser Wasser wird ausschließlich mit reiner Natursole angereichert. Ein 94 m² großes Bewegungsbecken wird für Kurse genutzt. Die 82 m lange Riesenrutsche führt direkt ins Erlebnisbecken. Tolle Licht- und Akustik-Effekte sorgen für noch mehr Rutschvergnügen. Blenden Sie den Alltag für einen Moment aus und erholen Sie sich bei einem unserer Massageangebote. Nutzen Sie außerdem unsere weitläufige Liegewiese und Sonnendünen für eine Ruhepause. Im Saunabereich erwarten Sie drei 90 °C-Trockensaunen, eine Dampfsauna und eine Finnische Blockhaus-Sauna.
