The IAAPA Expo Europe, organised by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, is Europe’s largest ‘marketplace’ for manufacturers and service providers in the leisure industry, with almost 900 exhibitors. This year, the trade fair took place in London. Supporting members of the European Waterpark Association (EWA) were also represented at the IAAPA Expo Europe. EWA President Jutta Kleiber and Managing Director Dr Klaus Batz took the opportunity to visit as many members as possible at their stand. At an international waterpark forum held at the Olympic Kayak and Canoe Slalom Centre, Dr Batz gave a presentation on digitalisation and artificial intelligence as drivers of innovation in the waterpark industry.

The Association of German Leisure Parks and Leisure Companies (VDFU) had a stand at the IAAPA Expo for the first time, represented by its President, Friedhelm Freiherr von Landsberg-Velen, Vice-President Michael Kreft von Byern and Managing Director Jürgen Gevers.
